THANK-YOU FROM CUB SCOUTS

From the Issue:
December 2011
On Saturday, November 12, the Scouts of the Fitzwilliam, Troy and Richmond Cub Scout Pack participated in the annual “Scouting for Food” food drive. Door tags were distributed during the days before the collection with instructions for residents to leave non-perishable food items outside near their door and mailbox and the Scouts would pick the items up to be distributed to local community kitchens.
This year, the pack decided to set a goal of 1,000 items to be donated.  With your help, the Pack was able to turn in 1,415 items of food and one gift card for a local grocery store!  Two pick-up trucks full of food delivered the items to the drop off in Keene.  The Helping Hand program in Troy received over 30 cases of supplies as a result of the national program.
But the Scouts couldn’t have done it without the support of the local community! THANK-YOU from the Tiger Cubs, Wolf Cubs, Bear Cubs, Webelos, leaders and families of Pack 27! We hope that you’ll help us reach our goal next year and continue to help us with our Good Turn projects.
