Sand Dam Commission Formed

In March, the Town voted to support the formation of a Sand Dam Commission to oversee re-development there, creation of a site plan, and funding of a new playground.  So there is a lot of work to be done in preparation for the changes envisioned.  The committee is beginning to gather public opinion on the projects in order to move forward.  We hope that a wide range of people from the community, including YOU, will participate in helping us to plan a park that will suit all of our needs.

Members of the committee include Committee Chair- Douglas Lyman, Vice Chair- Lisa Steadman, Secretary- Tricia Tucker, Grant Writer- Valerie Britton, Mikel Steadman, and Dennis Pratt.  Each commission member has volunteered and been assigned specific responsibilities and roles.  The members are utilizing their specific attributes and skill-sets to best assist the Commission in its primary goal, to make Sand Dam the best it can be.
