MEADOWOOD AREA FIRE

The cookbooks "Cookin' with Fire" are selling like hotcakes.  It's a great collection of our members favorite recipes and a few funny ones as well.  They are on sale for $11 and all proceeds go to the Meadowood County Area Fire Department. Spring Fire School is May 14th and 15th at the Training Center on Bowkerville Road in Fitzwilliam. Firefighters from around the county will be coming to take classes in SCBA, Auto Extrication, Pumps and more.  If you are interested in seeing what goes on at Meadowood Fire School, please stop on by and while you are there have lunch with the Ladies Auxiliary at the Snack Shack.

June 4th is Meadowoods' Annual Golf Tournament at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene.  There will be a shotgun start at 8 AM and an awards banquet to follow.  The cost is $100 per player or $400 per team. Each player will get bagged snacks and two golf carts per foursome.  To sponsor a hole it's $125.  Interested people are asked to contact Chief Crowell at 603-352-3853 or Capt Fisher at 603-357-1031.

There will be a 21 years old and older dance at Pelto's Barn in Troy on June 11.  The doors open at 7 PM and the band "Out on Bail" will be playing from 8 PM - Midnight. Advance tickets are $7 a person, admission at the door is $9. The dance is BYOB and there will be refreshments for sale.  There will be raffles and fun!!
