LISA STEADMAN FOR SCHOOL BOARD

I would like to thank the citizens of Troy for all of their support since October 2009 when I joined the Monadnock Regional School District School Board.  It is a responsibility I take very seriously.  I am running uncontested for re-election in March and would appreciate all of your votes, so I can continue doing this job I love.
 
For those of you who do not know me, I am a homeowner and taxpayer in the town of Troy, I lead the town’s Recreation Committee, and I have a four-month-old, Noah, who will be joining the school system before I know it!  I attended Troy Elementary and Monadnock High School in my youth, and I have a keen interest in making sure that we keep our children’s education at the highest level possible, maintain and improve the facilities in which they learn, AND balance the realities of this difficult economic situation.  I currently serve as chair of the Facilities Committee, and member of the Policy and Principal’s Union negotiating committees.

As in the past, I commit to meeting with the Troy School PTO in a regular basis, meeting with and reporting to the Selectmen as often as necessary to keep them informed about the issues that impact our town, making myself available for parents and taxpayers who would like to ask questions or share thoughts and ideas.  My direct contact information is Lisa.Steadman@LibertyMutual.com and 242-6070.
