Librarian will Kiss a Snake! Saturday, July 30 at 11AM @ Troy Elementary School If you and the adults can read 2,000 books by July 30th, I will kiss a snake at the Reptiles on the Move Program!
Reptiles on the Move: Saturday, July 30 at 11 AM @ Troy Elementary School. You'll meet all sorts of snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, and even alligators! Don’t forget if you meet the reading goal you’ll also get to see the Librarian Kiss a Burmese Python!!! Sponsored by the Byrne Foundation, CHILIS, Cogswell Benevolent Trust, NHLA, & NH State Library.
Workshop with local author Angie Frazier: Six week writing workshop with amazing local author Angie Frazier. Every Tuesday for one hour starting at 11 AM from July 5th to August 2nd. Grades 4 and up. MUST sign-up to attend. Limited to 20.
Story time: Diverse stories paired with a cool craft activity. Summertime inspired fun for all ages (this means you in the middle and upper grades too!!!). Presented by Sheila “Vagabond" Depew. Every Thursday at 4 PM from June 30th to August 4th.
Wii Wednesdays: Every Wednesday from June 29th to August 3rd at 2pm – 4 PM. We’ll have friendly competitions in Mario Kart and other games. Bring ideas for what you’d like to play.
Lego® Block Party Thursdays: Every Thursday from June 30th to August 4th at 2 – 4 PM. Use LEGO® blocks (on loan from the Frost Free Library) to create, design and build. The possibilities are endless. Everyone is welcome!!
Weekly Raffle: Enter our weekly raffle for a chance to win an ice cream cone (Walpole creamery, yum) from the Flipside Grill in Fitzwilliam AND an autographed book.
Pizza Party: A pizza party for kids signed-up for the summer reading program!!! To be held right after Wii Wednesday, August 3rd at 4 PM. A big thanks to Ed’s Crossroads Pizza for sponsoring the party!
Ice Cream Social (Wahoo Free Ice Cream!!): Join us on Wednesday, August 10th @ 6 PM. The Library invites ALL the residents of Troy to visit us for our Annual Ice Cream Social!
No need to leave the house!! (but you will probably want to because of all the cool stuff we are doing!) Have story time at home with Tumble Books!! This online collection for children of animated talking picture books plus puzzles and games can be accessed from our website . http://www.troylibrary.us Funded by the Keene & Elm City Rotary Club Success by 6 Committee.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, July 7th at 7 PM at the Library. The public is welcome to join us to discuss summer vacation plans and of course pressing Library matters as well.
Our hours are Tuesday 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM, Wednesday & Thursday 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM. Ask for a super cool magnet with our hours and get one FREE. Come on down and see your tax dollars at work!!
