CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH
THE HALO EFFECT
First of all, I wish to thank God his provision of employment for me and members of my family. I not only thank him for employment, but thank him for the opportunity to see His hand moving in people’s lives.
Yesterday was such a day.
LUTHERAN CHURCH
We are into the busy half of the church year and February brings the beginning of the season of Lent during which we prepare ourselves for Easter. Besides our regular Service on Sunday Mornings, with Sunday School and Adult Bible Study at 9:00 AM and regular worship at 10:00 we will be starting our mid-week Lenten service on February 22nd with our Ash Wednesday Service at 7:00 PM.
CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH
The members of Christ Lutheran Church would like to wish everyone in Troy, Fitzwilliam, and all surrounding areas a blessed and happy 2012. We had a wonderful Advent and Christmas season celebrating with our members and many guests and we hope that everyone had a Christmas filled with joy and family and the remembering of the birth of the Christ Child in Bethlehem.
Christ Lutheran Church News
Our Advent Services start at 6:00 with a soup and sandwich supper followed by evening worship at 7:00. The theme of the series this year is “Wait, Pray, and Live by Faith” and is based on the Old Testament Prophesies of the coming of the Messiah. Advent services will be held on December 7th, 14, and 21st.
Sunday Services begin with Adult Bible Study at 9:00 and morning worship begins at 10:00. Our December 11 Service will feature the children of the church, guests, and the children of Tender Shepherd Pre-School, as they join in Christmas Carols and the message of the Baby in Bethlehem.
CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH
During Advent we meet on Wednesday nights (Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14, and 21) at 6 PM for a “Soup & Sandwich” supper followed by a worship service at 7 PM. Each year we follow a theme during these services and this year we look to the prophets and focus on ‘Wait, Pray, and Live by Faith.” The public is invited to these suppers and services…come, prepare yourselves, and your Christmas celebration will be greatly enriched.
